2009/06/30 A Poem by Samuel Rayan

I had a class tonight on God in the Crucible, a book of sermons by Peter Storey. I read another sermon in the book after class and it had a poem I liked by Samuel Rayan, a theologian from India:

A candle light is a protest at midnight.
It is a non-conformist.
It says to the darkness,
"I beg to differ!"
