Well, we got to another Friday the 13th. Today Lauren and John come in from far-off places to spend the afternoon with me. Then they go to Greensboro for the remainder of the weekend. Looks like beautiful weather has turned sour on us. But then, who thought 80 degree weather would last during March.
My sinuses are giving me a fit last night and this morning. I guess I will wait until Monday to see if they improve but I think I am headed for a doctor visit with this as it has gotten worse as the week went by. Maybe the weather today makes them feel even worse. I called the doctor's office and left a message to see if there is any kind of medicine they can recommend or call in without my coming in. I don't even know if my doctor is working today though so we'll just wait and see if anything comes of the call. I have seen doctors ad infinitum since surgery and I really hate to have to ask someone to take me yet again, but I may have to in order to get any relief. (No, my doctor is not in and the one who is in says she will need to see me. John and Lauren and David, I guess, are going to get me in at 3 p.m. I hope it takes moments and not an hour or two. Maybe it will be fast since it is a Friday and I am sure they try to see as few people as possible in order to get out for the weekend....at least, that is the way I hope it will go.)
Yesterday, I worked on the computer a lot and straightened up on the house. I wish it were a little straighter but I feel too tired to do much more with it. I hope to watch the Carolina game later but only if they are winning. I am a wimp about watching them lose.
I think I have done all the "must do's" for the week so I can rest until the "kids" get here.
I went to take my shower a little while ago and Milo did not come so I looked outside in the hallway of the entrance to my condo and there he sat, just waiting for me to figure out he was outside. He must have sneaked out when I got the paper and I am glad he wasn't all the way outside. I don't really believe he could fend for himself in the world. He missed his beloved shower, however. That was the first thing he went to check when I got him back in. I think he thought, "Oh, shucks, I missed it."
